Windows OpenGL related stutter issues still persistent.

I am writing this post to let everyone know that I am currently working full steam on ironing out the Windows OS related OpenGL stutter issues.

Users are reporting that on Windows the game will stutter at the start when the gun is first fired. This issue is not present in the Linux version of the game and as such the OpenGL drivers on Windows seem to be the culprit behind the ongoing issues.

The issue is only present during the initial round and goes away after the game goes into a second round either through a GameOver, level completion or manual user restart. This issue is obviusly less than supreme and needs to be figured out on my end. What I am asking for is any technically minded users to help out with testing Windows. I know the issue is prevelant on all windows systems, and it will affect gameplay differently depending on the strenght of the GPU in use. 30-40fps on 720p on an iGPU is playable, but it dipping to 20fps or lower for seconds at a time makes it a non starter for myself as a developer and ofcourse you the player. Some testers are coming in with 120FPS on Nvidia 2060 GPUs and the frame rate drops there still allow for a smooth game play as they only dip slightly and for short periods of time.

Issue Outlined :

Linux: Initial gun firing and shooting of NPC enemy will cause the frame rate to dip for a split second, then sails smoothly through the rest of the match.

Windows : Initial gun firing and shooting of NPC enemy will cause the frame rate to dip for several seconds or stall the game entirely for a second or two, then sails smoothly through the rest of the match with occasional framerate dips.

Advice Sought:

Anything helpful regarding Windows 10 and Godot GPU optimization would help. Resources are preloaded already and the issue is only prevelant on Windows systems. Yay for Linux users!
